About Bre Cameron
Bre Cameron is a Navy veteran, who served as a Photographer’s Mate 2nd Class from 2001 – 2006 stationed in San Diego. After separating from the Navy, she completed her Bachelor’s Degree in Liberal Studies from Bowling Green State University and a Master’s degree in Engaged Humanities from Pacifica Graduate Institute. She started her career in Talent Acquisition in 2011 working as a recruiter for various industries and clients. Bre joined the biotech industry in 2017 and has spent her time since then building and managing recruitment programs for veterans. Bre merges her recruiting and project management skills with her own experiences separating from the military to coach, guide, and advocate for other veterans and military spouses trying to break into the biotech industry. At Amgen, Bre works directly with recruiters, hiring managers, and senior leadership to create strategies and programs to help increase veteran hiring. A native of Northwest Ohio, Bre currently resides in Savannah, GA, and in her spare time enjoys traveling, hiking, yoga, and spending time with her daughter and two dogs.
